Built in 1987, Sha Tin Magistrates' Court Building is located in the centre of Sha Tin New Town. The multi-storey building has a practical design enclosed by aluminum barricade. Unlike the massive outlook of most buildings, the building is clad in a parallel combination of dark brown ceramic tiles and dark glazed glass curtain walls. Adjacent to the building are the Sha Tin Town Hall and New Town Plaza.
