The Civil Engineering and Development Building was opened in 1976 and completed its renovation works in 2003. The 17-storey building occupies a site area of around 3,900 sq m, and is equipped with a glass curtain entrance and lobby, together with an outdoor podium and a 4-storey underground car park. After entering the building through the main entrance, one can reach the reception desk and lift lobby. The other side of the lobby is equipped with an automatic sliding door, which connects to a passenger pick-up/drop-off area of the podium.

Processing time : 14 working days.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government personnel or equipment is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Applicants may be required to effect adequate public liability insurance at their own expense.
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
